Rotary Youth Leadership Academy |
This
leadership academy will take place on the University
of Kansas campus from May 31st to June 4th. The
costs will be covered by the Rotary Club. All

2009 Young Ambassador Program for Latino Students. Funded by the Ford Motor Company. |
This is a National Leadership Development Program for 24 Latino, high school seniors. It is a 4-week summer internship program including one week in Washington D.C. Upon completion students will receive a $2000 stipend. Students must be U.S. citizens or legal permanent resident and have a 3.25 GPA.

Program |
This program is for
Kansas City high school students who have just
finished their sophomore or junior year and are
interested in medical careers. The program is
designed to help student groups that have been
historically under-represented in medical schools.

This 16-week training
program is funded by the U.S. Department of Labor to
prepare students for a career in manufacturing.
Students will earn 12 hours of MCC credit and a 10
